About a year ago, I became obsessed with Vanessa Christenson's Houndstooth Quilt. I love, love, love it.
Everybody here loved it. Problem is, we never have time to actually make something for fun. You know, something not Sweetwater related. But……..
My mom surprised us at Christmas. She made both my sister and I the Houndstooth Quilt. In red. Exactly the same so we didn't fight. At Christmas, she wrapped both of them up- not quite finished. They needed to be quilted. Well, we just got them back from our quilter, Brian. One has the binding finished, the other not quite. But I couldn't wait- I wanted to blog about them.
We are off to Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe in Portland tomorrow. Can't wait!
