In Quilting by Lisa Burnett

We are so excited- we just sent our latest embroidery quilt to our quilter and are anxiously waiting for it to arrive so we can show you!  However, we do have a digital version so you can get an idea.  The name of the quilt is Stateside, and it comes in red or black.  The red is a little more traditional and would be perfect next summer!

The black is especially striking and celebrates America without specifically being a Fourth of July quilt.  I love how the black and white sets off the colorful prairie points.

Here is a look at the embroidery block designs.

The fun part is you can substitute the name(s) of your favorite state for one or more of the blocks.  Of course, we chose Colorado for our quilt.

This would make a great winter project- it doesn’t ship until January.  It’s hot right now, but in January, you might need a little sunshine!  You can pre-order a kit here.  You can order just the six embroidery blocks, or you can choose to add the fabric kit.  The finished quilt measures 62″ x 52″.  We do need to know how much fabric to order, so the deadline for pre-orders is August 28.

Have a great Monday!
