First Look At Reunion

In Quilting by Lisa Burnett

So here it is- our newest collection.  We named it Reunion.  I like that word.  There is a new community near the Denver airport called Reunion.  Every time I drive by that sign it makes me smile.  It makes me think about coming home after work or school or play and having a reunion with your family everyday.  Reunion also makes me think of summer (is there ever a family or class reunion in the winter?).  And summer makes me think of the 4th of July.  Which is why we wanted red and navy in the collection (it also has green, grey and yellow).  The prints in the collection aren't necessarily American or patriotic in theme, but you could make a summertime, red, white and blue, Fourth of July kind of quilt- if you want to (and I want to).

And about that navy.  I love it.  It's my favorite colorway in this collection.  Partly because we haven't done navy before, but mostly because I'm just a navy kind of girl.  I like to wear navy.  A lot.  If my t-shirt isn't white, it's navy.  My wardrobe is so exciting.

If you would like to be the first person in the world besides us (okay- I can't promise you that) to have a Moda pre-cut of Reunion, leave us a message letting us know what your favorite color in the collection is.  There is the navy:

We will pick a winner later this week.  Good luck!

Oh- I almost forgot.  I'm thinking it should be out early next year- January or February.  Just in time for Spring!
