Day 3- Recipes

In Favorite Things, Quilting by Lisa Burnett

My mom loves recipes.  Well, actually she loves collecting recipes.  From the internet.  She regularly visits sites such as Martha Stewart, The Food Network, and The Pioneer Woman.  And she loves to print out their recipes.  She has thousands.  Here is the latest pile from a good evening of recipe printing:

The only problem is, she has recipes scattered everywhere.  There are literally piles of recipes stacked on her desk.  Until now.  Check out her new Recipe Binder:

I think it is pretty cute- and way better than the piles.  Inside, there are 8 categories: salads, cookies, desserts, appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, breads and beverages.

The kit includes 2 different prints so you can choose between the blue star and the green floral for the outside.  The other print will be used for the inside liner.

The kit includes fabric, iron-on labels (for the outside spine and the 8 categories), ric-rac and the pattern.  The three ring notebook and page dividers are not included- we used the brand Avery for both.  And yes- the labels can be ironed to paper or cardstock- they stick perfectly.  The kit is on our Etsy site now!
