Day #10

In 12 Days of Christmas by Lisa Burnett

Day #10 features a Christmas pillow.  Well, not actually a pillow.  But a pillow wrap.  We love these because you can wrap a pillow you already have and dress it up for the holidays.

Making these are so easy.  It comes as an iron-on transfer.  You simply iron it on to the fabric and you can add embroidery if you like.  If you don’t want to embroider, no worries!  They look cute either way.

Here is a close-up look at the embroidery.  I love the texture that it gives to the image.

The transfers come in four different designs, each measuring approximately 5.5″ x 8.5″.

If you haven’t tried the transfers before, don’t be scared.  They are very easy and we even give you a practice image to try before you iron your main image.

The transfers are packaged with the embroidery instructions, as well as the instructions to make the pillow wrap.  There is no additional pattern to purchase. You may also want to try them on a kitchen towel!

We  didn’t make a fabric kit- because the wrap is just cream fabric.  The actual pillow?  Those were made with Feed Company fabric.  And we don’t have any left. We can’t wait until next year to make more Christmas projects with that plaid!

The transfers are available here and on Etsy here.

Have a great day and we will see you back here tomorrow!
