The Christmas Card

In Quilting by Lisa Burnett

For those of you who follow us on Instagram, you probably already know about our brand new fabric line we debuted in Houston a couple of weeks ago.  For those of you who haven’t seen it, meet “The Christmas Card”.  The only thing we don’t like about this collection is that it’s for Christmas 2020 and not this year.  But, it’s never too early to plan for any Christmas!

Here is a look at the prints.

May is the magic month for The Christmas Card- that is when it will be shipping in stores.  We are late on this post and sharing it with you because we only recently received our sample yardage.  With that comes quilt designing!  There has been a lot of that going on around here.  Today, we are finally able to share all the quilts we have designed for this line.

We will start with my favorite.  Not only is it my favorite, it shares the name of the collection.  Here is our Christmas Card Quilt.  We named it that because each block resembles the front of a Christmas Card.

Because of the printed blocks, this quilt has taken the longest to design.  We don’t have the quilt finished yet, but we are working on it!

As you can see, the printed blocks can be embroidered (optional) and then applique is added.

The best part?  Two of the printed blocks can be customized.  One with your state.

And one with your family name.

We are almost finished with the blocks and will be putting it all together soon.  We can’t wait to show you the finished quilt!  In the meantime, you can pre-order the kit here.  Remember, we won’t have the fabric until May, so the kit won’t ship until then.

The next quilt is called “Noel” and it uses one of our new Printworks Panels.

You might notice that our sample quilt uses our current Christmas fabric, Merry Starts Here.  We made the sample with that when we didn’t have our new fabric.  Be assured, however, that the kit includes our new fabric, The Christmas Card.  “Noel” can be pre-ordered here.

Next, we are offering a Christmas kit of one of our most popular quilt patterns ever.  Say hello to Cobblestone Christmas.

Some of you may remember the original Cobblestone used our Sweet Tea fabric.  Here is a photo of that.

After we did that quilt, I always thought it would look so pretty in Christmas fabrics.  We don’t have this one finished yet, but you can pre-order it here.

Finally, we are offering a pre-order for a quilt that we didn’t design.  However, we saw it at Quilt Market and fell in love.  This one is called “Tis the Season” and it was designed by Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co.

This beauty can be found here.

As with all our quilt pre-orders, you pay 1/2 when the order is placed and the second 1/2 right before shipping.  You can also choose to include the backing.  With this group, each quilt has a choice of 5 different backings so you can choose your favorite!

All of the kits can be found here.

So now that you have a peek at 2020 Christmas, you can resume your 2019 Christmas preparations.  Have a wonderful weekend!
