Porch Sale!

In Quilting by Lisa Burnett

Every once in a while, we look around and discover we have a lot of fabric.  We are lucky enough to design several collections every year and with every collection, we add more and more fabric to our stash.  Our storage room is about to it’s breaking point and because we know there will never be enough time to ever use all the fabric, we have to let go of some.  So, on Saturday, September 24, we will hold a “Porch Sale” at my mom’s house in Fort Morgan, Colorado.  If you are anywhere near us, this will be a great opportunity to stock up on Sweetwater fabric!  We will have 1/2 yard as well as 1 yard cuts, fat quarters, pre-cuts and our ever popular scrap bags.  If you want a scrap bag, you may want to get there early!

If you would like to come, here are general directions from Denver (about an hour and fifteen minutes away):

Travel  from Denver on I-76 East. (approximately 65 miles)

Take the US-34 exit, Exit 75, toward I-76 Bus Loop E/Ft Morgan

In .34 miles, at the stop sign, turn right onto US-34 E/US Highway 34

In 1.63 miles, turn left onto County Road 16

In approximately .5 mile, take the first left into the subdivision, Trailside.

Follow the curved road until you get to 11 Trailside Drive.

For whatever reason, when you put that address into any GPS map app, it doesn’t recognize it.  If you want to use an app, just type in “County Road 16, Fort Morgan, CO”.  The subdivision, Trailside, is just a quarter mile south of Highway 34 on County Road 16.  When you turn into the subdivision, just circle around on the main road until you come to the porch sale.  You can’t miss it.  Especially if you love fabric.  No one ever misses fabric, right?!!

We also have an update on our Project Sweetwater- Treehouse box.  When we planned the box and took pre-orders, we believed the Treehouse fabric would be delivered in August.  Because of that, we set the delivery of the box in September.  We had planned to ship around the 10th.  Because all of the billing was taken care of in the first week of September, everything should have been ready to go on that date.  Except….we are still waiting for the fabric.  Well, we are waiting for half of the fabric.  The pre-cuts have been delivered, but we are waiting on the yardage.  The good news is that when pre-cuts come, it means the yardage isn’t far behind.  I know many of you are patiently waiting for your box and we are trying to wait patiently for the arrival of the fabric.  As soon as it gets here, we will be cutting, folding and assembling the boxes as fast as we can!
