Some of you are just receiving our latest Project Sweetwater box. But we have more! Just as we finish up shipping the Volume II boxes, we are planning the next. Keep in mind that our Cookie Exchange box is shipping in June. If you didn’t pre-order, we may have just a few extras after shipping, so make sure to check the blog or Instagram in June.
The new box features solids. All the colors that we love. All the colors that coordinate with our collections. We are so excited about this box! We don’t have all the projects finished, but the major one is called “One Block Minis”. This is how the minis work: they are three sizes: 4″, 6″, and 8″ squares. You will be able to make eleven of each size, thirty-three in all. From these original sizes, the possibilities are endless- combine them to make larger quilts, mug mats, table runners, or group several of them together on a display wall. You will also receive printed Sweetwater fabric from various collections that coordinate with the solids for the binding on the minis. Besides the “One Block Minis”, we are planning more projects for this box.
The minis are seriously fun to make. The best part is how easily they combine to make any size quilt you wish. I love them all, but the tiny ones are my favorite.
Please keep in mind that the binding on these are from our “Treehouse Club” fabric. We are trying to include some of that fabric in the kit for the binding, but each kit will be different, and include fabric from many of our collections. The collections all coordinate with the solids so everything will work together.
As many of you know, the Project Sweetwater boxes need to be pre-ordered. The last day to pre-order is April 30. The box will ship in July. I know many of you were disappointed you couldn’t get a Volume II box, so here is your chance to get in on the fun. The total cost is $49.95 plus shipping. You will pay $10 when you sign up, and the balance plus shipping in July.
