A new year calls for new fabric, right? Well, we have new fabric to show you! And it’s………Christmas fabric! Okay, I realize we just had Christmas and most of you have taken down all your holiday decorations and are ready for Spring (I’m definitely ready for Spring). But it’s never too early to start planning for Christmas. This is the time of year Moda shows all the new Christmas collections to stores- so they have to plan super early. This collection will ship to stores in June, so you will have a good 6 months of sewing to be ready for Christmas!
This collection was inspired by our very first Christmas collection called “Countdown to Christmas”. Like that collection, this one is very traditional in color- red and green with a bit of black. After we revived our “Authentic” collection last year, Countdown to Christmas is the one collection we get the most requests to reprint. Although we followed the color scheme exactly, the prints are different- except one (our very favorite from “Countdown”).
We call the new one “Overnight Delivery”. We hope you like it as much as we do!

This text print was our favorite from that first collection, and we think it mixes in perfectly with “Overnight Delivery”.
We received the sample yardage of this collection a few weeks ago- right in the middle of us trying to get out Christmas orders and also trying to get ready for Christmas ourselves! The problem is we are a little late on getting our quilts finished that go with this fabric. We are working on them, but some only have a digital image. We are taking pre-orders for these quilt kits. The first is called “Jingle All The Way”. This one is pieced, but we just sent it to the quilter, so it’s not completely finished.
The next one is called “Make it Merry”. We are almost finished piecing this one- but just have the digital to show you for now. It has a perfect name- it totally makes me happy!
Speaking of buffalo check, my favorite one in this collection is the green and black. We feature it in our “Plaid Tidings” quilt:

The last quilt kit we are offering isn’t a new design. This was our feature quilt from our “Hometown Christmas” quilt. This was one of our most popular quilts ever. We took pre-orders for it last year, but not everyone saw it during that period and we have had several requests to bring it back. Here is our Hometown Christmas quilt in “Overnight Delivery”.

Keep in mind that if you pre-order this kit now, the fabric will be from “Overnight Delivery”. The fabric design is similar, but the colors are more traditional (there is no blue in Overnight Delivery).
