It’s been five years since we debuted one of our all time favorite fabric collections- Feed Company. That one is pretty special to us. We regularly get emails from customers trying to find even a fat quarter of the line. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find any for several years. You might be wondering if we are bringing this fabric back. We don’t have plans for another Feed Company right now (although you never know), but we are bringing our favorite quilt from Feed Company back!
The reason we don’t have this quilt available continuously is because of the time it takes us to make the embroidery blocks.
There is even a block that can be personalized with a name, city and state. In our quilt, we just used the word “Sweetwater”.
We are offering the embroidery blocks, pattern and fabric. Obviously, the fabric won’t be exactly the same as in the sample. However, we are anxiously awaiting a brand new collection (that we can’t show you yet), that will work perfectly in this quilt. The embroidery blocks and pattern are shipping now. If you would like a fabric kit, it won’t ship until August. Yes, I know that’s a long time away. The good part is because the embroidery blocks are shipping now, you will have plenty of time to get them finished before the fabric gets here!
If you are really anxious for the fabric and don’t want to wait until August, we suggest using our current collection in stores- Sweet Tea! We don’t have any Sweet Tea left, but it is available at many retailers. We think it would be perfect in this Feed Company quilt. I will warn you, however, that Sweet Tea is selling quickly and stores won’t be able to get more when it’s gone (we have tried and it is totally sold out!).
