We have brand new fabric! You might have seen a quick preview on Instagram, but we haven’t had a chance to show you on our blog. It’s been a little while since we have had a fun kid’s collection to work with. Not anymore! We are so excited to introduce you to Animal Crackers!!!! Here is a look:
I can’t decide which is my favorite- maybe the cows or monkeys. It might be the words with the animal names or the cute little hearts. But the more we work with it, I have totally fallen in love with the x’s that are in the little boxes. I love them all.
Animal Crackers will ship to stores in October. I know October seems so far away, but it will be here before you know it! We are planning our December Project Sweetwater box around this new collection. However, we are also planning a special box just for babies! This box will not be a part of Project Sweetwater- it is a one time purchase. The reason for a special box is that obviously, not all our Project Sweetwater members are sewing for babies at a specific time. The Project Sweetwater box will be geared to everyone. But for our customers who have (or will have) a special little bundle of joy, we are offering an Animal Crackers Baby Box. This box will ship at the end of October. If you want one, you will need to preorder it now. Here is a look at the items you can make from the box.
The cute receiving blanket is made from flannel. Oh- I forgot to mention- many of these prints also come in flannel! I’m dreaming of cute kids’ pajamas. Except I don’t have a little kid anymore. Pretty sure my twelve year old isn’t going to put on monkey pj’s. Oh well. I love these little ducks;
Not only are the ducks adorable, but you can make all the stuffed animals:
The box will include a cute canvas tote. It will be perfect to wrap everything up and gift the set to someone you love. You can find the box here.

The panels can be pre-ordered separately or we have special “bundles” which include fabric and patterns to make quilts and pillows from the panels. Look for the bundles here.
And one more quilt. This one doesn’t use a panel- just the adorable fabric. It’s called “Little Dreamer”.
And labels! We can’t ever forget labels. We used the cute little animals to make cute little labels. These come in all 12 animals. Here are a few.
You can even get a sampler pack- cute mini 2″ x 2″ labels- perfect to label all sorts of things.
So many new things! As always, we are taking pre-orders for everything. Except the labels- those aren’t a pre-order, we can ship them starting next week! We even have pre-orders for pre-cuts. Even better- if you order any pre-cut (except a charm pack and mini charm pack), you will receive a free personalized animal label!
Most items (quilt kits, bundles, etc.) will have the same payment schedule that we usually offer. 1/2 is due at the time of ordering and 1/2 right before shipping. We have a special “Animal Crackers” section on our site so you can find everything easily.
The only downside is we have a very limited time to accept pre-orders for any of these items. You must place your order before June 30. You can find everything here.
